The object of the group is to encourage people to write (or otherwise), create a document about their life to leave for those that will come after them.

The plan is for the group to meet, once a month on the 3rd Tuesday (10.30-12.00), to discuss ideas, exchange format, media options, to remind others of things to include.

It is not intended that members of the group will read each others stories but more to encourage an exchange of ideas and to provide a time and space to develop their individual stories.

At each meeting we will take a topic and spend some time recalling our memories in the hope that this remind members of their own past.
Member are then free to use what remains of the time to make notes, add to their story (please bring your laptop), perhaps explore internet for information.

This group is not going to explore genealogy routes, paths or links, but to provide a ‘vehicle’ to encourage members to set down their story for future family. Please contact Mike Hill for further information.
