Further Help and Advice

Winchcombe u3a Policies

Our Health and Safety Policy can be downloaded from the Policies Page.  This includes an Incident/Accident Reporting Form.

There is also a wealth of useful guidance information on the Third Age Trust's website.

In particular, Group Leaders should make themselves familiar with information available under the Advice area of the Trust's website. In order to access this information, U3A members must open an account. This requires setting up a username and password. This is straightforward to do. All Group Leaders are encouraged to look at this information, in particular the sections relating to Risk Assessments and Incident Report Forms.

We also have a Safeguarding policy which aims to ensure that members can enjoy our u3a activities in a safe, tolerant, and caring environment. The safeguarding officer referred to in the policy is the Vice Chairman of our u3a, to whom all enquiries about the policy should be addressed.

See the Policies page also for our Policies on Privacy, Equality Equality and Diversity, and Grievance Procedures.
