Notice of AGM 2026

I hereby give notice under the terms of the Constitution, that the 9th Annual General Meeting of the above will be held on Tuesday 12th May next at 2pm at the Abbey Fields Community Centre, Back Lane, Winchcombe. 

If any paid-up member wishes to be nominated for a position on the Committee, or to propose a Resolution at the said meeting, then please complete the attached forms for the purpose.  In each case they will need to be proposed and seconded by the relevant additional members and the completed forms will need to be returned to me by the 14th April 2026 for verification.

The committee currently has up to 3 vacancies, and members are therefore invited to apply for a position on the committee as an ordinary member, or for a specific officer role.  If elected, an ordinary member can be assigned a specific role on committee, or may choose to remain as an ordinary member.  The strength of our u3a depends on the willingness of members to participate as fully as possible in the differing roles that are available in the u3a, including service on your committee.  All applications are therefore welcome.

Forms may be returned to me by email, by the 14th April 2026, providing that a signed form of the original is handed to me, at or before the meeting on the 12th May.  Alternatively, signed and completed forms may be posted to my home address below, to arrive by the same date, 14th April 2026.

The final Agenda for the meeting, together with any completed nominations and resolutions to be proposed at the meeting, will be emailed (or posted by request) to all members on the 21 st April next.
